With access to a plethora of travel options, Waterloo is one of the best locations in London. Waterloo station has undergone an £800m redevelopment with the first phase completed this summer. The upgrade of the services available at Waterloo station aim to increase passenger capacity by up 30%. Waterloo station also offers access to the London Underground network with the Northern, Bakerloo, Jubilee and Waterloo and City lines connecting you to the rest of the city. Limited not just to the Tube, many bus routes run through Waterloo traveling to Holborn and Oxford Street, Camden and Islington and to the south towards Peckham and Brixton.  Living in a central location such as Waterloo provides you with access to the whole of London, no matter how you wish to arrive.

When it comes to shopping Regent and Oxford Street are only a short ride away, however there is plenty of options in Waterloo. Waterloo Green just off the station is a popular lunchtime destination for city workers offering a welcome break from the busy city.

The area caters for families of young children, there are many primary and secondary schools in the area with options of both private institutions and state-run schools offering you the choice. The south of London is also home to several higher education facilities, such as Kings College London, London South Bank University and the London College of Communications.
